Hello and welcome!

I’m Dee, I just turned 63.  I am a wife,  mom, grandmother, reader, traveler, former business owner, and lifelong learner living in the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas.

A few years ago, I began asking myself a simple question:

What makes a life feel like home?

Not just a place to live, but a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and true to who we are.

Like many women in this season of life, I’ve spent years caring for family, building a career, meeting responsibilities, and checking boxes. Along the way, I discovered that happiness isn’t found in doing more—it’s found in paying attention to what matters most.

This website is a place to explore that journey.

Here you’ll find reflections on:

  • Intentional living
  • Healthy aging and wellness
  • Books worth reading
  • Travel and adventure
  • Faith and personal growth
  • Creating simple daily habits that lead to a meaningful life

I don’t claim to have everything figured out. I’m simply sharing what I’m learning, what inspires me, and what helps me build a life that feels a little more like home.

My hope is that you’ll find encouragement here—whether you’re simplifying your days, starting a new chapter, pursuing better health, planning your next adventure, or simply looking for a quieter, more intentional way to live.

Thank you for stopping by.

Make yourself at home.

— Dee
